Computer science is at the centre of “Smart Prevention”. No digitization is conceivable without computer science. In this area we have been able to win over two female engineers, a journalist and the president of the (BSI) for statements.
Professor Dr.-Ing. Ina Schieferdecker heads the department „Forschung für technologische Souveränität und Innovationen“ [Research for Technological Sovereignty and Innovation] at the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). Dennis Schirrmacher is the editor of Europe’s largest magazine for computer technology, c’t, and writes primarily on security topics.
Arne Schönbohm is President of the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). Professor Dr.-Ing. Britta Wrede teaches at Bielefeld University and heads the research group “Applied Computer Science” at the Cluster of Excellence Cognitive Interaction Technology (CITEC).
