Of course, digitisation also offers great opportunities for crime prevention. On the one hand, because it brings with it opportunities to reach more people, to address more people, to bring issues to a larger part of the public. On the other hand, however, it also enables networking, a networking of institutions, of organisations that work in the field of crime prevention, in the field of prevention. Networking these organisations, working together for something, is something that will work much better in the future as a result of digitalisation and will open up many more opportunities. With the Central Office for Combating Cybercrime, we have a nationally respected project in Hesse, a special unit which deals with all issues of cybercrime and which also works very strongly in the area of crime prevention. This means that the colleagues in this central unit give many lectures at prevention events, are involved in a large number of project groups and working groups where crime prevention is also an issue. This is to some extent our contribution both to crime prevention, but also to the social development of state institutions in the age of digitalisation, in order to keep pace with technical developments, to be able to react to dangers through crime, to be able to react promptly to new challenges. With this central unit, we have an institution that ultimately covers many of these areas of crime prevention and law enforcement excellently.
