Media literacy in particular is essential in the digital world. The ability to master social media, the Internet and the various end devices is equally important for adults, children and young people. Digital natives directly grow up in a digital world, but parents must support digital socialisation, as our experts emphasise.
Gregory Grund is partner of Digitale Helden [Digital Heroes] in Frankfurt and trains pupils in their media competence, points out digital pitfalls and advises on questions of (digital) moral courage.
Gesa Stückmann is a lawyer. With her project Law4School, she campaigns for media competence and against cyberbullying and hate speech.
